These are reflections of some of the non-fiction books I've enjoyed. I write these notes to better recall ideas; they are not intended to be a holistic review. This is a hangover from an older habit where I wrote notes in physical books as a time-capsule of where I was when I was reading a book (like this one from 2014 of Following Fish by Samanth Subramaniam).
I subscribe to Teju's Cole idea that the distinction between fiction and non-fiction is an arbitrary construction, but hey - it does have its uses.
